How to care for your product

Since all items are handmade with a variety of durable and fragile fabrics, they require a little extra care.

I recommend going as long as you can without washing to prevent fraying and long-term wear and tear. Therefore, here are some tips on how to clean your handmade pieces:

Stains: Treat stains with baking soda and lemon or a simple stain remover such as Mr. Clean Magic Erasers or a Tide stick should do the job.

Really Bad Smells: If your denim starts to smell like a high school boy’s locker room, then it might be time for a good soak or gentle wash.

Washing:  If you are using a washing machine, cold water on delicate or a low spin cycle is recommended. Keep in mind though, that this may cause some wear on more fragile fabric and delicate details. Hang your pieces up to dry and bam!

Smells: Use Febreze or put them in the freezer for 24 hours. The cold will kill any foul-smelling bacteria.

  • Make sure you seal them in a zip lock bag before putting them in the freezer. You want to avoid them from getting wet, otherwise you will end up with a frozen pair of pants!
